I was wondering why the full Xcode disk image is only a .99 GB download, while the iPhone SDK is 1.38 GB. Then I did a diff on the images, and found out the iPhone SDK is a superset of Xcode. It has all the regular development stuff plus like 7 more iPhone-specific packages.

And then I started trying to install the iPhone SDK and remembered it requires an Intel Mac. Boo.

It automatically collates and staples, resets to default settings after idling, knows exactly where inside its labyrinthian body paper is jammed, and wakes up when I walk by. How creepy is that last part? IT KNOWS WHEN I’M COMING.
